In a bizarre crossover event that breaks conventional predictions, the game developer has announced an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.

Strange Mission Uncovered

According to the authorized release, "A mysterious encounter draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where whispers of forbidden ceremonies and fearsome transformations echo through the obscurity." The storyline presents a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who charges the pair with venturing into the Gemstone Grotto—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a clandestine cult.

The adventure concentrates on "bizarre trials and a terrifying foe" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Familiar Locations and Transformations

The teaser showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer finishes with a dramatic sequence showing a character, presumably the captive, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Prizes and Bonus Content

Players who successfully complete the mission will receive an exclusive katana in addition to multiple artifacts secreted throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also features premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
