Iran is willing to resume atomic discussions with Washington provided that it is approached with "respect" and "honor", Tehran's top diplomat has declared.

Abbas Araghchi stated exclusively dialogue was effective, and revealed new appeals had been made by go-betweens to reopen talks with the American leadership. He said Iran did not have undeclared nuclear sites, and Tehran was not yet able to allow the UN nuclear inspectorate to visit attacked atomic facilities for security reasons.

Navigating a Challenging Course

Araghchi is walking a complex course since Iran wishes not to be perceived to be proceeding from a position of weakness, and he consistently maintained that Iran had emerged more resilient militarily and emotionally from the Israeli-US attack on its enrichment centers in June.
